Sawa Meat and Sausage was started by two brothers, Paul and Peter Plonski. The Polish natives wanted to bring a new taste to the Colorado community by producing high quality European and American products at the possibly lowest prices. They opened their first store in 2000 and after just 3 years of long hours, their hard work started to pay off. Business started to steadily increase and Paul and Peter decided to open up a second location in the south Denver area.

Sawa Meat and Sausage is well known for its gourmet Polish style sausage and deli meats. Sawa also carries a variety of imported gourmet food products such as jarred vegetables, jarred fruits, spices/condiments, imported bottled juices, and frozen pierogis.
